I am a graduate student at Stanford University pursuing a Masters degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Urban Systems track. I previously graduated from University of Toronto with a major in Civil Engineering and a minor in Artificial Intelligence Engineering.
Since October 2022, I have been working as a Data Science Engineering intern and developed data pipelines for the Stanford Energy Operations department. I was also a research assistant in Prof. Wong-Parodi’s lab in Spring 2023 and studied the community impact of climate hazards as a part of the Our Communities, Our Bay project. In Summer 2023, I worked at Arup’s Los Angeles office as a Digital Engineering intern and contributed to Digital Design Delivery efforts on a large public infrastructure project.
Prior to graduate school, I had close to 3 years of internship experience in structural engineering and software development. In 2019, I worked at Rocscience as a geotechnical software developer to research and implement soil settlement calculations. In 2020, I worked at Arup as a structural engineering intern to design stiffening and dampening devices that mitigated a crowd-induced floor vibration problem at Ohio State University. I also contributed to a web-based platform that controls iterative design processes through a centralized hub of engineering calculations. From 2020 to 2022, I helped design structural systems for the next generation of Small Modular Reactors at Terrestrial Energy and developed automation scripts for aircraft impact analysis, which I presented at the Women in Nuclear Global Conference.
My interests lie at the intersection of infrastructure and technology, and I hope to improve the efficiency and resilience of urban infrastructure systems using computational and data-driven techniques.
Projects I have worked on.
Art I create in my free time.
